Quickie

Went go-kart racing last night and learned one very crucial thing about myself: I am a very competitive person.

But it's cool, I won two races. When go-karting, always keep in mind that you're supposed to cut off people. Have no mercy. And remember, when they hit you on the turns, it is beneficial. Oh, and the wall is your friend. Embrace it often.

That is all. ^-^

And seriously, neighbors (especially Tom Jr.) - I have no qualms about driving past you when you spin out because YOU have no qualms about driving past me when I spin out. Wakarimasu ka?

In film camp news..it's bearable. I can stand the people this year. We have a lot of fun at lunch. Mike is back again (not the Mike who reads this journal). Mike's a younger kid who I like to pick on. He informed me on Thursday that I need to "dumb down" because no one can understand me sometimes. So I went on his wavelength for a minute or so:

Chan: *slaps Mike on the back* Hey Mike, I like your shirt, dude!
Mike: *slaps Chan back* Thanks, man!

And it turned out fine. ^-^

And I don't know why, but I'm a whole lot more comfortable with acting this year. It's probably because I don't give a shit either way. Except when they cast me as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and write a shitty script. Sample dialogue - Dorothy: What a delightful big campus. I wonder where [Television Production Institute] is located. The wicked witch has hidden it from kids seeking creative fun over their summer break.

I kid you not, that's the line I had to say. Even when I complained that it was stupid, I still had to say it.

I'm speaking up about a lot of shit in the class any more. I don't think the instructors are going to like me much longer if I continue. But whatever. As long as I don't talk politics (since they're all rabid Democrats and it's obvious), I probably won't get in trouble if I attend college there.

Seriously, one of my instructors, D, is brainwashing the students. We're looking through this magazine and there's this picture of a monkey-person and automatically she says, "Oh, look, there's George W. Bush."

Good one, D. Keep listening to the Al Franken show, it's doing you a world of good.

Sheep.

A lot of the kids are "Democrats" as well. But they're so misinformed, it's going to take a while before you can debate them seriously. One thought that Terri Schiavo drank 25 cups of ice tea a day, which put her in her former condition.

Moron. She would have been dead within a couple days if she had done that. Pity, this was the kid I liked - he's an aspring screenwriter and likes Japanese films and anime like me.

In other news..Nachi's coming in less than a week! Yay!
